Snow day today! Only a few gentle flurries, a couple of times during the walk, and only once was it coupled with an icy wind.

Several small towns passed thru today – Grañon, Redecilla del Camino, Castildelgado, Viloria de la Rioja, and Villamayor. Phew! Only stopped in the last of these – for an excellent bocadillo con tortilla y queso / egg and cheese sandwich, and super helpful coffee.

Also crossed the border into the next autonomous region of Spain, Castilla y Leon, marked by a wonderfully oversized and mildly bonkers vertical map of their section of the Camino Francés.

Home for tonight looks very cool, and has some neat looking rocks above the town, this time with a walkway to get there… but in the cold weather, not so keen to venture up there, so we will all have to content ourselves with imagination as to how amazing they might be.
